However, friends and families of amputees, doctors, prosthetics, teachers, PE instructors, physical therapists or anyone wanting to know more about amputation, will benefit from using this site.

Amputee Coalition of America (ACA) - is a national, non-profit amputee consumer educational organization representing people who have experienced amputation or are born with limb differences. The ACA includes individual amputees, amputee education and support groups for amputees, professionals, family members and friends of amputees, amputation or limb loss related agencies, and organizations.

Barr foundation- The purpose of the "FUND" is to purchase prosthetic limbs for amputees who cannot otherwise afford them.

Limbs for Life - is a nationwide not-for-profit organization that has dedicated itself to the purpose of providing comfortable and fully-functional prosthetic care for individuals who cannot otherwise afford it.

New Beginnings Prosthetic Foundation - is a charitable non-profit organization that cares for the needs of those with limb loss and their families.
