Question by : High School unfair system?
Well, I lived in United States for more than 10 years, and I’m still considered an “ESL” student just because I failed and is failing the standardized test. I always pass the ESL test with advance, but I always fail the state standardized test which is unfair, because that test is for all students including really smart and dumb students.
To summarize it, the school is saying “People who are not whites should pass the ESL test AND the standardized test (which most whites play around with, because they know the test won’t matter at all). I always pass ESL exam, obviously, because I lived in U.S. for a long time, and on top of that, I’m on AP classes. I just keep on failing the standardized state test which pisses me off. I don’t know what to do???? I also feel like Im being used. Why? If you get high score on standardized test, the school gets advantage. If all students get advance on standardized test, the school becomes popular and gets donated with a lot of money.

Love, do you know what ESL means? It means “English Second Language”. You can be white and not be born knowing English, dude.
You being in advanced classes has literally nothing to do with how well you speak English… and, uh, the fact that you keep failing the test should TELL YOU SOMETHING.
