Question by : Latin sentence translation: “Terrarum sic ima peto, quin aethera linquam.”?
Can someone profound in latin translate this:

Terrarum sic ima peto, quin aethera linquam.

It’s carved in doorway of an old monastery and im quite curious about it, but i have no experience in latin language. :)
