    Wow, there is only a very subtle difference between when you are leaving (…gyesayo) and when the other person is leaving (….gaseyo). That’s hard to hear.

    ‘네’ is formal but ‘예’ is also ok. We can say both ‘네’ and ‘예’.

    Could you tell me the difference between 네 and 예? I hear them used interchangeably, and they are always translated into ‘yes’, and could you tell me the formal way to say ‘yes’? Thank you.
